Impossible to unsubscribe

I signed up fpr a trial version of istockphoto and downloaded one photo. It was said I will get a warning when my trial version was coming to an end, but I never did. They charged me around 40 usd for one month and I tried everything to get the refund. I wrote them via online form, but never got the response. I called the number provided, but nobody ever answered. I was writing e mails, never got the response. Then they charged me again next month, the same amount because I aparantely agreed on a yearly subscription and again I tried all of the above, but nothing worked. Then I found Pissed consumer, wrote them through their platform and got the response witing a few days. My subscription was cancelled and I got my money back. Thank you Pissed consumer!

User's recommendation: Never sign up for a trial version!!

Bought atock photos with viruses

I paid for a service from a stock photo company. I paid for and downloaded some photos from istockphoto. As soon as I did my home page changed and I started having problems with my computer. Since that time whenever I turn on my computer I get this window called Register Booster. It slows my computer considerably. I have to wait at least 5 minutes for it to do its thing before I can do anything. Also I downloaded the pictures to my hard drive but now everytims I want to use them for something I get a popup that says I have to subscribe to their (not istockphoto) newsletter and pay $19 before I can save the file. I can't even copy it again. They deny responsibility so they refuse to refund my money. I am really pissed
